On 3 May 2025, we were honored to welcome the visit of H.E. Mr. Nishimura Yasutoshi, Member of the House of Representatives and Former Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan to Royal Group Phnom Penh Special Economic Zone (RGPPSEZ). The visit was also accompanied by H.E. Ueno Atsushi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to the Kingdom of Cambodia. 

During his visit, H.E. Mr. Nishimura was warmly welcomed by management and staff of RGPPSEZ. The management team highlighted RGPPSEZ’s importance as a premier hub for industry and investment in Cambodia, emphasizing its dedication to promoting business expansion, driving industrial innovation, and supporting sustainable development. H.E. Mr. Nishimura also paid a visit to Toyota Tsusho Manufacturing (Cambodia) Co., Ltd., a Japanese company operating within RGPPSEZ, which assembles Toyota vehicles for the local market.

As a strong advocate for regional economic growth and industrial development, this visit marks a reaffirmation of Japan’s long-standing support for Cambodia’s development and a deepening of bilateral economic cooperation. We extend our sincere appreciation to H.E. Mr. Nishimura Yasutoshi and H.E Ueno Atsushi and the delegation for their visit and look forward to further strengthening the collaboration between Japanese and Cambodian businesses.
